The minor in Poultry Science is available to all students enrolled at Texas A&M University. The main educational goal of this program is to provide students, majoring in other fields, with a basic knowledge of various fields within the poultry industry. The courses required for this minor will cover information on major topics in the poultry industry. The courses listed in the catalog represent the 16 hours required for a minor in Poultry Science.
The Poultry Science Department cannot guarantee the availability of the courses required to meet the requirements listed above. Successful completion of the minor will be certified by a degree audit during the semester of the student’s graduation. The minor will be recognized after graduation on the student’s transcript, but not on the student’s diploma.
