Steak Fry Tradition Stronger Than Ever with Record Attendance and Generous Support
With record fundraising and attendance, the annual Steak Fry continues to serve as a cornerstone event for the Poultry Science Department and its supporters.

On September 21, 2025, more than 300 current and former students, families, faculty, staff, and industry representatives gathered for the department’s largest Steak Fry to date. Hosted at the Legends Event Center in Bryan, TX, the evening featured live and silent auctions, a steak dinner, and live entertainment from the South 77 Band, led by Former Student Nathan Fuchs '12, closing the night with music and dancing.
The live and silent auctions raised nearly $17,000 for the Texas A&M Poultry Science Club and Aggie Poultry Ambassadors (APA), the department’s undergraduate student organizations. These student groups help undergraduates develop strong relationships with peers and members of the poultry industry. They participate in service projects, industry events, and socials every year.
Thank You to Our Supporters
The Department of Poultry Science extends heartfelt thanks to this year's event sponsors and auction donors for their unwavering support. A special thank you to JBS for donating the steaks for dinner, Kevin Gleason Auction Company for facilitating the live auction, and Ideal Poultry for sponsoring the South 77 Band.
We would also like to recognize our outstanding student volunteers, whose dedication behind the scenes helped make the event a success, from organizing auction items to managing registration and assisting with event logistics.
