Texas Breeder and Hatchery Forum Brings Industry Professionals Together for a Day of Learning
The Texas Breeder and Hatchery Forum was held on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, bringing together poultry industry professionals for a full day of learning, discussion, and collaboration. This inaugural event featured two concurrent educational programs, one tailored to hatchery operations and the other focused on breeder management, allowing attendees to engage with content most relevant to their roles.
The symposium was hosted at the Thomas G. Hildebrand, DVM ’56 Equine Complex in College Station, Texas, and welcomed nearly 100 poultry professionals, company representatives, and allied industry partners from across the region, creating a strong environment for education, networking, and industry engagement.

In addition to breeder and hatchery professionals, the forum welcomed individuals and companies that provide products, services, and technical support to the commercial poultry industry. This diverse audience created opportunities for networking, collaboration, and the exchange of ideas across all sectors supporting breeder and hatchery success.
“This is an event we’ve been excited to bring to fruition,” said Greg Archer, Ph.D., Department of Poultry Science Professor and Poultry Extension Specialist. “The topics were intentionally selected to provide attendees with the most up-to-date information while building on the breeder and hatchery breakout sessions offered at the Texas Broiler Symposium. We’re excited about the foundation this forum has created and look forward to expanding the program in the years ahead.”
By bringing together industry experts and professionals from across the poultry sector, the forum provided a valuable platform for education, discussion, and continued progress in breeder and hatchery management.
