Few things bring the Poultry Science family together quite like Steak Fry. For more than 25 years, this beloved tradition has welcomed students, faculty, staff, former students, families, friends, and industry supporters for an evening of food, fun, and unmistakable Aggie spirit!

What is included in my ticket?
Admission includes a steak dinner with all the fixings, access to the live and silent auctions, and an event t-shirt!
An open bar will be available for guests, and complimentary soft drinks will be provided throughout the evening.

YES! Bring the whole family and invite your friends, too. The Texas A&M Department of Poultry Science is proud to welcome guests of all ages to join us for an exciting evening with the poultry science community.
What should I wear?
Great question! Come comfortable and ready to have a good time. Western or business casual attire is a great fit.
What can I expect for dinner?
We hope you’re hungry! Dinner will include steak, baked potato casserole, green beans, chicken tenders and gravy, salad with dressing, rolls, dessert, tea, and water.
An open bar will be available for guests, and complimentary soft drinks will be provided throughout the evening.
Who can become a donor?
Monetary contributions and in-kind donations opportunities are open to individuals, families, former students, businesses, organizations, and industry partners who want to support Texas A&M Poultry Science students and programs.
How do the live and silent auctions work?
Guests will have opportunities throughout the evening to bid on a variety of donated items, with select items featured during the live auction.
NEW this year, our auctions are getting an upgrade! Thanks to the generous sponsorship of the Texas Poultry Federation, we’ll be using Handbid, an electronic auction platform that makes browsing, bidding, and keeping up with your favorite items easier than ever.
Where do proceeds from Steak Fry go?
Monetary contributions from our generous donors, allow the proceeds from the live and silent auctions to directly benefit students in the Poultry Science Club and Aggie Poultry Ambassadors. Your support helps make valuable experiences possible, including leadership development, professional networking, industry travel, recruitment efforts, and hands-on opportunities that prepare students for success after graduation.
