Poultry science students and faculty with Jeff Savell, Ph.D., Vice Chancellor and Dean of Texas A&M College of Agriculture and Life Sciences

At the end of January, Texas A&M Poultry Science students traveled to Atlanta, Georgia, to showcase their hard work at the International Poultry Scientific Forum (IPSF) during the International Production and Processing Expo (IPPE).

This prestigious event provides a platform for students to present research on key industry topics, including nutrition, processing and products, avian diseases, environmental management, physiology, and pathology. Students not only share their findings with industry professionals, researchers, and fellow students but also gain valuable experience in scientific communication and industry networking.

Participating in IPSF offers an incredible opportunity for students to see how their academic efforts contribute to the advancement of the poultry industry, while also preparing them for future careers in this dynamic field.
