We sell fertile eggs (Single Comb White Leghorn) to anyone (private individuals, schools, companies, etc.) Currently, we have a small supply of brown fertile eggs. Please inquire with Shelby Espinosa if you are interested in a mix of both brown and white fertile eggs. Other breeds may be substituted for Single Comb White Leghorn on small orders if Single Comb White Leghorn is not available in order to fulfill fertile egg orders in a timely manner.
We DO NOT sell fertile quail eggs or quail.
We DO NOT sell fertile eggs outside of the United States.
Holiday Weeks Special Ordering Guidelines
No orders will be shipped on the following dates:
- Thursday, November 23rd
- Thursday, December 21st
- Tuesday, December 26th
- Thursday, December 28th

Egg Prices
Eggs are sold in flat quantities only (2.5 dozen per flat or 30 eggs). The price of 1 flat of eggs includes the cost of packaging & handling. The cost of shipping via FedEx, UPS, or USPS is NOT included.
- Standard Packaging: $37.50 per flat ($1.25 per egg)
- Insulated Packaging: $39.00 per flat ($1.30 per egg)
- Cooler Packaging: $230.00 Total (5 flats)
Egg orders will be shipped on Tuesdays and Thursdays only.
Orders must be received at least one week in advance of the shipping date.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations will need to be emailed to shelby.espinosa@ag.tamu.edu 3 days PRIOR to the ship date.
Exceptions will be made on large orders if sufficient egg quantities are not available to ship on Tuesday or Thursday. Notification of any changes to the shipping date will be emailed. A shipping notification and tracking numbers will be emailed on the day of shipment.
Shipping Charges
Walk-In, FedEx, UPS, and USPS are the ONLY delivery and shipping services we use (updated 10/22).
For orders shipped to Texas: Fertile eggs will be shipped via FedEx, UPS, or USPS with next-day delivery services. The purchaser will need to provide account information and a shipping address.
For orders shipped to all other states – Fertile eggs can be shipped elsewhere by FedEx, UPS, USPS, or another overnight delivery service. The purchaser will need to provide account information and a shipping address.
For walk-in orders – Fertile egg orders will be placed on a table located inside the foyer of the main building (1201) of the Poultry Science Research, Teaching, and Extension Center. The building is located next to the main parking lot at the center (map to farm with address). The walk-in shipping option is available after you click on the link for “Fertile Egg Orders – Texas ONLY”
Calculating Shipping Rates and Creating a Prepaid Label
The customer is responsible for the shipping costs. Either a shipper account number is provided at checkout or a prepaid label is emailed to shelby.espinosa@ag.tamu.edu. FedEx, UPS, and USPS will calculate shipping rates based on the shipper, customer, and package details.
If you do not have a shipper account number, enter “will send prepaid label” in the “Shipper Account #” section when placing your order. This will allow you to add to the cart and proceed with payment.

We offer three types of packaging – Standard, Insulated, and Cooler Box
Standard Packaging

Standard paper pulp egg flats and corrugated cardboard egg shipping box.
$37.50 per flat of eggs ordered.
Insulated Packaging

Standard paper pulp egg flats, insulated box liner, and corrugated cardboard egg shipping box.
$39.00 per flat of eggs ordered
Cooler Box Packaging*

Standard paper pulp egg flats, polystyrene foam container inside a 200 lb test outer shipping carton.
*Orders are sold in quantities of 12.5 dozen. You can request less than 12.5 dozen eggs in your order, however, you will be charged for the set rate of the packaging and 12.5 dozen eggs.
$230 per cooler of eggs.

Orders must be placed while using a computer or laptop. Orders will not process if using a smartphone. After submitting your order, you should receive an automated notification that the product was ordered. You should also receive another email confirming your order.
